The United Nations Society of Writers consisting of members of the Secretariat, Diplomats, and United Nations correspondents who have published acknowledged published works of literature, human thought, and philosophy, presented Oscar Ichazo with with the Award of Excellence, "in appreciation of (his) role as philosopher, author, and educator".
