In the P-Cals book, we observe the anatomical plan of the human body and we find it is composed of five cavities (although currently anatomy divides the body into four cavities). The five anatomical cavities are the Pelvic Cavity, the Abdominal Cavity, the Thoracic Cavity, the Cranial Cavity, and the Dorsal Cavity, which unites and awakens the other four cavities. P-Cals is a series of 23 movement and breathing exercises that awakens each cavity which corresponds to specific areas of the spine, with the related nerves, muscles, bones, organs, glands, and tissues.
Each cavity is associated with a specific color, and by remembering these colors while practicing each exercise, these exercises establish a new awareness about our organism and its functioning. This allows us to understand in a clear and direct way the precise areas of the five cavities of our body, which we perceive as our pelvis, abdomen, chest, head, and spinal column.
The next important point about P-Cals is the Kath point, three finger–widths below your navel. We discover that when we breathe into the Kath, its energy is awakened, filling our body with the fire of vitality, or chi, which is essential to life and any process of rejuvenation.
By inhaling into the Kath, a rhythmical flow of vital energy, or heat, is continuously introduced into our entire organism, especially into the specific cavity that is being exercised. It is important to inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth, inhaling and exhaling deeply and completely without strain.
You can learn the exercises by reading this book. Perfecting the exercises and generating vital energy is an unfolding process. You will find that the exercises improve with every practice, resulting in attaining real awareness, stability and happiness in your life.
After the P–Cals exercises are presented in the book, the last section offers more chi–generating exercises, called "Kath–generating Exercises" for you to practice and develop more ways to use your Kath energy to revitalize your body and mind. They have clear and concise instructions to follow to awaken Kath awareness in your everyday life.
